Research is an essential element in the development of South African law. TurnerLegal has been involved in various research projects in the justice sector. Its research aims to inform government thinking on legislation. Through pilot projects TurnerLegal is also able to test various service delivery models and develop the appropriate legislation around these models. Ultimately our research aim is to make legislation more understandable and practical, thereby bringing law closer to ordinary South African citizens.
